THE SOLAR BROS PROCESS

From the moment you reach out to us, right up until you switch your brand-new system on, our process is carefully crafted to ensure that your experience is as effortless and straightforward. Our team is committed to guiding you through each step, ensuring that the process unfolds seamlessly. We understand the importance of simplicity and efficiency, which is why we've fine-tuned every interaction to minimize complications, making sure you feel supported and at ease from start to finish.

Step 1 - Consultation

We come to your home; we will discuss your needs, wants, preconceptions and goals. At that point we will present you with a preliminary design and we will go over paperwork. It's hands off from here, the rest is left to us.

Step 2 - Engineering

Within the next week our engineers will conduct a thorough review of the preliminary design to ensure that your panels and system are optimally placed for your home. They will also verify that all calculations are accurate and address important technical details that will enhance the overall effectiveness of the installation.

Step 3 - Interconnection

Interconnection is the process of connecting a solar installation to the local electricity grid. This allows your home to both draw power from the grid when needed and feed excess electricity back into it. When your solar panels generate more energy than your home consumes, the surplus is sent to the grid. In short, we are gaining permission to turn your home into a micro-power plant.Don't worry, we take care of that for you too!

Step 4 - Permitting

Permitting is a catchall term for the process of working with your local AHJ, or Authority Having Jurisdiction, be that county, city, or other municipal entity in charge of electrical and/or building permits and codes. During this time all necessary documents and permits will be prepared and submitted by our team. Once this process is complete, you will receive a call to discuss an installation date.

Step 5 - Install

The big day is here! Typically, residential solar installations are completed in just one day. Our team will work efficiently to ensure everything is set up correctly and to your satisfaction. You’ll be enjoying your new solar system in no time!

Step 6 - Inspection

Your AHJ will conduct an inspection to ensure that all work has been completed correctly and that every aspect of your solar system meets all codes and regulations. This step is essential for confirming that the installation complies with safety and performance standards. Once the inspection is successfully completed, you’ll receive formal approval, giving you peace of mind about your new system.

Step 7 - Permission to Operate

Permission To Operate. The day you have been waiting for! The process is now over and you can enjoy green energy provided by the sun itself!
